 York a perfect destination for the whole family.  With its ancient history, architecture, Museums and theatres, Cobbled streets, cafes and Restaurants York is always a day to remember. 

3rd August – Wednesday – Yorkshire Lavender Farm and Visit to Helmsley £30        

 Helmsley is a market town in the Ryedale district, situated on the River Rye on the southern boundary of the North York Moors National Park.  Helmsley has retained its medieval layout around its marketplace. An historic town of considerable architectural character whose centre has been designated as a conservation area. Following our stay in Helmsley we will again board the coach for a short trip to Yorkshire's original family-run Lavender Farm.  (Admission included). With its spectacular Lavender Gardens, a Specialist Plant Nursery, Children's Play Area, a Gift Shop with our own range of Yorkshire Lavender products. All set in a spectacular hillside farm of nearly 60 acres, within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a panoramic view that is said to be one of the best in Yorkshire.   

  

  5th August – Friday – Whitby Town and North York Moors.  £20        

 Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors.  Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this wonderful and historic town, home to the most famous 18th century explorer Captain James Cook, with its Abbey and Links to Dracula and all things Gothic this trip has something for everyone.                                            


  9th August- Tuesday – Visit Beverley Town and Brigg Garden Centre £18     

 With its famous Minster, Historical buildings and cobbled streets, cafes and cosy coffee shops Beverley has something for everyone.  In the afternoon we will visit Brigg Garden Centre.                                                    


  13th August – Saturday – Cleethorpes £19                 

 Those who have not been to Cleethorpes in recent years will be surprised at the changes. A clean and modern resort with traditional appeal. Breath-taking scenery, fabulous beaches with exciting watersports available, mouth-watering food, top attractions and fascinating history.           

  16th August – Tuesday – Spalding Bay tree Garden Centre and Springfields Outlet. £17

         Bay tree Garden Centre, much more than just a garden centre. It is a wonderful world of endless discovery, where both the specialist and beginner can explore every aspect of gardening in a breath-taking display of over 16 acres of retail area.  It is the sheer scale and diversity which you will find so amazing. There’s a surprise around every corner and new attractions and changing themes await you every time you call. Each department is brimming with inspiration for your garden and your home. Nestled in the heart of the Lincolnshire bulb-growing region Springfields Outlet Village is the ideal place for everything you need to inspire your indoor and outdoor living space. From patio and garden furniture to clothing and gifts plus a fantastic range of plants, seeds and, as you would expect, bulbs.  Combined with delicious homemade cakes, popular cream teas and light snacks at Springfields Restaurant, Springfields Home & Garden is the perfect destination for all the family.         

  18th August – Thursday – Great Yarmouth £25 

 With its sandy beaches, two historic piers, and seafront Golden Mile comprised of restaurants, amusement rides, and arcades, Great Yarmouth is Norfolk’s flagship beach town and is always crammed with holiday makers during the summertime.           


  23rd August – Tuesday – Bourton on the water and Calling at Diddly Squat.  £30 

 Bourton-on-the-Water is located in the Cotswolds, within the heart of England, famous for its honey coloured stone architecture and idyllic village scenes.  Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, this one village offers a wealth of attractions and shops, restaurants and tea rooms, or simply the space for you to enjoy some tranquil time by the River Windrush, spanned by its five arched bridges. Opened in 2020 by Jeremy Clarkson, the Diddly Squat Farm Shop is a Cotswolds-based emporium of edible delights. And, of course, potatoes.

25th August – Thursday – Sheringham and Cromer £25   

            Sheringham and Cromer.  Always a popular favourite with our customers we are returning to the North Norfolk coastal resorts of Sheringham and Cromer for what will undoubtedly be another day to remember.               


 27th August – Saturday – Skegness £19                             

 This seaside resort comes with the classic English seaside holiday activities; the donkey rides on the beach, the pier, the crazy golf, but there’s more to come from this Lincolnshire town. “Skeggy”, as it’s affectionately known, is home to several regular international arts and music festivals which transform the town every year. With rollercoaster rides and a seal sanctuary there’s also plenty for kids to enjoy, whether it’s the thrills of a ride or the joy of seeing seal pups on their way back to being reintroduced to the wild. With a Blue Flag beach, Skegness has something for everyone.   


 29th August – Monday – Bakewell on Market Day £20                   

 Perhaps best known for its unique and delicious Pudding, Bakewell has many more tempting treats to offer - ranging from shopping and specialist markets to relaxing strolls and special events. Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park's mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards are a magnet for painters, photographers, and sightseers alike. Legend has it that the town's famous Pudding was created by mistake by a local cook in the mid-19th century. Today her delectable 'jam tart that went wrong' can be sampled at various bakeries and cafés and posted virtually anywhere in the world! Bargains galore are on offer every Monday at the bustling outdoor market, and for an extra buzz, head for the livestock market to experience the action in the theatre-like auction ring.                   


 30th August – Tuesday – Robin Hood Trip to Sherwood Forest and Edwinstowe. £15 

    Sherwood Forest and Edwinstowe.  Home of the famous Robin Hood and his Merry Men, Tales of the Evil Sherriff of Nottingham and King John, this excursion has something for everyone young and old.  With the Visitors centre, Craft Centre and being a short stroll from the Edwinstowe you really will have to manage your time to fit it all in.

Drive and Dine

Exactly what it says on the tin, this drive out through the Lincolnshire scenery lets you observe the changes of the seasons from the comfort of the coach.  On arrival at the venue you will be taken straight to your tables and your pre-ordered meals will be brought straight out, No WAITING, No queuing or having to find your glasses to read the menu as we send these out and let you decide in the comfort of your home with no pressure.  We then let the venue know in advance.  Coach ticket for this excursion is £10 and you pay the venue directly on the day for you meals.
